So this is going to be an extremely short entry – I am off to Boston for the weekend! I just wanted to introduce myself briefly – my first substantial post should hit this blog next Thursday. 
My name is Megan Lieff and I am a college student, majoring in Jewish & Women’s studies, here in Washington, DC. Like a lot of Washingtonians I am a transplant, from the great state of Pennsylvania (props to the other Montgomery county ^.^).
I am an ardent feminist, with a strong interest in how politics and pop-culture can affect girls and women, and likely most of my blogging will revolve around these and other related issues. For a taste of what I am into check out the blogs Jewcy, Feministing and Jezebel.
